Upload 3D models to MakerWorld from iPhone
MakerWorld accepts model uploads directly in Safari on iPhone — no computer needed. Prepare or fix the model in Forma3D, upload the STL or 3MF through makerworld.com, set visibility to private or public, then print from the Bambu Handy app on the same phone.

The iPhone-only pipeline
- Prepare in Forma3D — edit, repair, scale, or paint the model; export STL or 3MF to Files
- Open makerworld.com in Safari — sign in to your Bambu Lab account
- Upload the model — pick the file from the Files picker; add photos if publishing publicly
- Set visibility — keep it private for personal printing, or publish for the community
- Print via Bambu Handy — the uploaded model shows in your account; send it to the printer
Which format to upload
| Format | When to use |
|---|---|
| 3MF | Preferred — preserves painted filament regions, plate layout, and print settings |
| STL | Plain single-material geometry; smallest, most compatible |
| STEP | Parametric CAD models (Forma3D works with mesh formats: STL, 3MF, USDZ) |
Tips for private uploads
Private models count only against your own library — they still appear in Bambu Handy for printing but aren't listed publicly. If the upload picker can't see your file, make sure Forma3D exported it to Files → On My iPhone or iCloud Drive first.
